Player characters are middle schoolers growing up in rural Appalachia during the hottest fall on record in 1981. School has just started and Keith Samuels (age 12) has gone missing. Parents are in a frenzy about the missing boy but are clueless about how to find him. And\, of course\, they won’t listen to a bunch of kids. It’s up to the kids to find him\, and they are hopeful the mission will be a rescue\, rather than a recovery. The clock is ticking and it is a very bad time to be outside on your own in the mountains. This game is rated PG\, with very similar content triggers as were present in the Stranger Things series.
