Volunteers Needed: Louisville Free Public Library Partnership!

For 2017, Nerd Louisville is launching a partnership with the Louisville Free Public Library. We will have two big initiatives: a presence at the annual How To festival in May and regular roleplaying and board gaming sessions aimed at local kids held regularly at local library branches.

The library branches interested in hosting NL gaming groups are:

  • Highlands
  • Shawnee
  • Shively
  • Southwest
  • Westport
  • South Central (opening sometime in summer 2017)

Dates and times are flexible and will be determined as we gather volunteers.

Anyone interested in running a game session or otherwise helping us to spread the nerdery through city-wide gaming outreach at the library, please post in our community forum here.

Mike Pfaff

Mike is the co-founder of Nerd Louisville and still volunteers from time-to-time. He's been a nerd since he was first introduced to Dungeons & Dragons when he was a wee lad and continues playing to this day. You can play games with him at Slur Your Role or other Nerd Louisville events.
