Ran by Adam Lester
Level: Beginner
Characters: Pregens provided
Description: Want to play “D&D” without learning tons of rules or mechanics? This is your chance! You don’t need *any* prior D&D/TTRPG experience to enjoy this game, so beginners are especially welcome. Characters will be created at the beginning of the session. Dice, character sheets, etc. will be provided.
Scenario: Once upon a time, there was a kind and wise and beautiful Witch who lived in the forest with her familiars. Her life was peaceful and happy until a freaking Witch-Hunter broke into her cottage, dragged her out, and freaking MURDERED her! Now she’s dead! You, precious woodland animal, are one of her familiars. If you get revenge, kill the Witch-Hunter, and bring his eyes to the Witch’s corpse within a week she’ll come back to life! Or so you’ve heard. Even if it doesn’t work, at least he’s dead. The jerk.
Game System: The Witch Is Dead is a free one-page RPG by Grant Howitt available at https://gshowitt.itch.io/the-witch-is-dead.
