Up the Creek and Over the Mountain
(VS Stranger Stuff)
Ran by Arthur Thacker (he/him)
Level: Beginner
Characters: Pregens provided
Description: This rules-light RPG is intentionally similar to the Stranger television phenomenon. Characters are teens navigating eerie happenings in their neighborhood and the perils of life in the 1980s. In this case, a classmate has gone missing, and the adults seem clueless about where to search for him. This scenario is located in rural eastern Kentucky, rather than sub-urban Indiana. The story blends the real and alternate history of the area. This game has horror elements but is targeted at a PG -13 rating. There will be some violence (perhaps even firearm use), drug references, and hopefully a spooky vibe.

This adventure is practically all puzzles and social encounters, with combat unlikely.
