Introduction to Applied Occult Computing (The Laundry)

Ran by Andy

Level: Beginner
Characters: Pregens provided

Description: Welcome to Capital Laundry Services! This exercise is designed to get you acquainted and acclimated to your new position in the Milton Keynes facility as quickly and as efficiently as possible! No doubt you’ve already filled out your New Employee Induction Form, signed all of the relevant indemnities and waivers, and been issued your company palm computer – or, you would have been, had the current lot arrived on time. But don’t worry, everything you need is in here!

This is an intro adventure for the 2nd edition of The Laundry, a role-playing game set in the world of Charles Sross’ The Laundry Files. Characters play the roles of (unwitting) employees in the British department of Paranormal Affairs. Due to the fact that employment is generally conscripiton based when someone learns something the public is not meant to know (magic is real and is actually applied higher mathematics, other dimesions are real, the great old ones are coming, etc..) you are guaranteed an interesting career, if you can survive the paperwork!
