Ran by Andrew Bates
Level: Beginner
Characters: Pregens provided
Description: SCI-FI HORROR. Do you like Alien, the Expanse, or Blade Runner? Mothership is the game for you!
Scenario: During a routine cargo job on a remote asteroid mining base the crew learns that one of the workers has disappeared. No blood, no body, no record of the airlock opening. Just gone. And that’s not the only unexplainable thing that’s been happening at Ypsilon 14… What is the alien material at the heart of this asteroid? What do the weird events around the base have to do with it? Who, if anyone, can be trusted? And can the crew make it out alive before they also disappear? Rules are easy to learn and will be taught, also available free online.
Riddermound (Dragonbane)
Ran by Jonathon Myhre (He / Him)
Level: Beginner
Characters: Pregens provided
Description: This side of the Iron Forest there’s an unholy place with huge stones rising into the sky. Riddermound it’s called, named after a dark knight who was chained by the gods when the world was young. They say he was buried alive in that mound, along with his family, his servants, and all his riches.
Dragonbane is a classic fantasy tabletop roleplaying game full of magic, mystery, and adventure. It is designed from the ground up to facilitate fast and furious play, with very little prep time and adventures that are a breeze to run. This is a game with room for laughs at the table, while still offering brutal challenges for the adventurers. We call this playstyle “mirth and mayhem roleplaying” – great for long campaigns, but also perfect for a one-shot.
Dragonbane is a translation of Drakar och Demoner, Scandinavia’s first and biggest tabletop RPG, originally launched in 1982. This new and reimagined edition has one foot firmly planted in the heritage of decades of Swedish gaming and the other in the modern and innovative game design for which Free League Publishing is known worldwide.
As always, drink responsibly and tip your bartender! Many thanks to Monnik for hosting our event.
