Official Rules

By participating in this contest, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. The contest is being run by NerdLouisville, Inc. and is open to anyone at least 18 (eighteen) years of age or older. NerdLouisville members who are not selected to facilitate the contest are eligible to participate in the contest. By entering the contest, you confirm that you are eligible to participate and receive any benefits that may be awarded to you. There is a limit of one entry per person and the contest is completely free to enter.

Entry Requirements

Submissions must abide by the following restrictions:

• The logo must be an entirely original work.
  • AI generated or assisted work will be disqualified. Entry in this contest affirms that you have full rights to the art. Falsification, forgery, plagiarism and/or intentional use of copywritten material disqualifies the work and is the sole liability of the artist.
• The logo must be of a “teal, fairy dragon” with the name of “FEVO” (which is OVEF spelled backwards).
• The logo must be “family friendly”.
  • Nothing lewd, highly sexualized, pornographic, or excessively violent.

Entries must be received by 11:59pm (EST) on January 10th, 2025.

Selection & Notification
All logos will be reviewed by selected NerdLouisville and OVEF members. The winning logo will be chosen by consensus of the selected members. The winning artist will be notified, first, by the email used for the submission no later than January 17th, 2025. If the winning artist does not respond within 5 (five) days of notification, the alternate contact method will be used, and an additional 5 (five) days will be granted. If no response is received, NerdLouisville reserves the right to select a new winner. All participants reserve the right to rescind their submission up until they accept their status as the winning artist. Participants may rescind their submission, by writing, in an email sent to admin@nerdlouisville.org.

Finalist
The winning logo will be used in the upcoming live-play OVEF Fundraiser hosted by NerdLouisville. The artist of the winning logo will be mentioned as the creator of, and in connection to, the logo no fewer than 2 (two) times during the event’s broadcast and will be included in all associated advertisements. The winning artist will also receive a t-shirt or hooded sweatshirt with the logo(s) within 1 (one) month of the event, delivered to them at NerdLouisville’s expense.

Release
You agree that any relevant personal information you provide when entering the contest will be used by NerdLouisville in connection with the OVEF Fundraising event. NerdLouisville accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by entrants as a result of participation in the contest. You confirm that, once the winning status has been acknowledged and accepted, NerdLouisville reserves the right to use the logo in connection with the live play OVEF Fundraiser.

Termination & Miscellaneous
NerdLouisville reserves the right to terminate this contest at any time and without prior notice or amend these terms and conditions.
