Eligibility:

• Open to all individuals aged 18 or older.
• Limit one entry per person.
• Nerd Louisville board members facilitating the contest are not eligible to participate.

Submission Guidelines:

Your scenario must:

• Be written for Dungeons & Dragons (5th Edition).
• Be an original work—plagiarism or AI-generated content is prohibited.
• Take approximately 3 to 4 hours to complete.
• Be family-friendly (PG-13): light themes, fantasy violence, minimal offensive language, and clear good-vs-evil narratives.
• Be flexible to include interactive elements from live-stream donations (e.g., giving the DM a disadvantage roll).
• Allow pre-generated player character suggestions (optional).

Prizes and Recognition:

The winning scenario will:

• Be used in the live-play OVEF Fundraiser event hosted by Nerd Louisville.
• Feature your name as the writer during the event and in all advertisements.
• Grant you the right to publish the scenario with Nerd Louisville’s logo and event references after the fundraiser.

You’ll also receive:

• A t-shirt or hooded sweatshirt with the event logo.
• A lasting place in Nerd Louisville’s creative history!

Selection Process:

• Submissions will be reviewed by Nerd Louisville and OVEF members.
• The winner will be notified via email by January 17th, 2025.
• If the winner does not respond within 10 days, an alternate winner may be selected.
