From tabletop games to the creative arts and everything in between, the Louisville metro area is home to a multitude of safe and inclusive spaces that support nerdy hobbies, livelihoods, and personal expressions.
Nerd Louisville is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization with the express purpose of promoting education and community through creative games and interests, with the goal of helping Louisville, Kentucky to become the most awesome nerd city in the universe. Founded in 2015, the organization has grown into a community institution and our regular and special events draw hundreds of participants throughout the year. Our efforts have raised money for charitable causes like the Home of the Innocents and the Boys and Girls Club, and support efforts like our Next Gen Nerd initiatives. We also act as a hub for local nerds of all ages, building connections, friendships, and sharing our interests with one another.
Nerd Louisville hosts and promotes engaging events that bring everyone together. We celebrate nerd culture and provide anyone the opportunity to participate in their favorite games and share their nerdy hobbies and passions. Many of our events are Louisville institutions, have been enjoyed by thousands, have fans all across the city and surrounding areas, and raise money for charitable causes.
Nerd Louisville educates and empowers youth and adults to participate in their favorite games. Community and connection are built through shared experiences that anyone of any age can learn from. Promoting our favorite games and sharing our hobbies ensures that they reach the broadest possible audience, so everyone can experience that joy.
